Special Episode 8, "The Lurker," is the second of a two-part series on Elizabeth and Flourish’s fanfiction writing practices. In this installment, Flourish interviews Elizabeth about the experience of being a prolific writer and yet never posting any fic. Topics covered include the dynamics between lurkers and communities, her extremely involved research process for historical stories, and—yes—whether her early fictional universe about the corporate shark father in Sweet Valley High counts as fanfic.
