In the third episode of the “Tropefest” series, Elizabeth and Flourish tackle a fanfiction staple: “enemies to lovers.” They discuss whether the trope is inherent to particular ships or more situational, variations like “enemies to rivals” or “enemies to friends to lovers,” and the way shipping can be used to interrogate the moral universes of fictional worlds.
