Special Episode 12: Black Sails
Elizabeth and Flourish finally get to talk about Black Sails after Flourish waited roughly 10,000 years to watch it! Elizabeth brings insights from her study of postcolonial literature as they dig into Flourish’s take on the ending, including ideas about cynical, hopeful, and romantic narratives. They also discuss how underrated Eleanor is, how slimy Long John Silver is, and, of course, how they’d kill for Anne Bonny.
